Minimal disruption to functional buildings at Historic Properties

In our ongoing commitment to providing unrivalled scaffolding solutions, JMac Scaffolding recently collaborated with Historic Property Restoration on a remarkable project at Fountains Abbey. This project showcased our ability to seamlessly integrate our services within operational, historic spaces.

Fountains Abbey, one of the largest and best-preserved Cistercian monasteries in England, attracts visitors year-round. Our task was to erect scaffolding to allow for delicate restoration work around the central statue within the moon pool, all while the public continued to explore the live attraction.

Implementing a strategic plan to minimise disruption, our team seamlessly segregated the work area, ensuring public safety and maintaining the integrity of the historic site.

Against the backdrop of this challenging live environment, our team executed the project with precision. The central statue, a focal point within Fountains Abbey, received meticulous cleaning and restoration. The balance between historical preservation and public engagement was maintained throughout the process.

The success of our work resonated with our clients at Historic Property Restoration. Their satisfaction not only validated our commitment to quality but also opened doors to two additional projects, a testament to the trust forged during our collaboration.

At JMAC Scaffolding, we take pride in transforming challenges into opportunities. The Fountains Abbey project showcases our ability to work seamlessly within live attractions, ensuring minimal disruption whilst helping to maintain historic landmarks. This successful collaboration with Historic Property Restoration not only preserves history but also sets the stage for future endeavours.
